About Inject-A-Floor Systems
Arthur DiStefano, a lifelong active tile and marble contractor started in the business in 1953, in Rochester, New York. In 1.970 he moved his family to Boca Raton.
Arlene DiStefano, his wife and partner, had a corporate background and previously worked with The Hollymatic Corporation in Chicago. She moved to Boca Raton in 1971, with Hollymatic Corporation and worked for the company until they closed in 1978.
The DiStefano's met in 1978 and Arlene than joined Arthur in a partnership in the ceramic tile and marble business. The business was very successful through the 80's.
Around 1988 Arthur came up with the idea of rebonding loose and hollow floors that delaminate from the slabs. He was able to develop the adhesive and applied for a patent on the method. Their business went from installation of tile floors to a method of repairing loose and hollow tile floor, which comes under the heading of restoration. In March of 1991, Arthur received his patent no. 5,000,890 on the method of injecting. At lunch one day the name Inject A Floor Systems was born.
Since we are in the tile restoration business it's only appropriate that we also distribute White N Brite™ products, white grout cleaner and ceramic tile cleaner.
Our Inject A Floor® Repair Adhesive product can be purchased online or found at many ceramic tile distributors in the state of Florida and throughout the United States.
